ToSolar is a registered member of the Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN), giving our customers access to BC Hydro’s self-generation and EV charger rebate programs. We register your project and file the applications for you.
$1,000 per kW of installed solar, to a maximum of $5,000 (or 50% of installed cost). Every ToSolar solar system, using tier-1 Longi and JA Solar panels, is designed to qualify.
$500 per kWh, up to $1,500, for batteries on BC Hydro’s qualified product list, including the Sigenergy SigenStor we install.
50% of the purchase and installation cost of an eligible Level 2 charger, to a maximum of $350, with rebate-eligible chargers like ChargePoint and Emporia. (Tesla Wall Connector is not eligible.)
An extra $200 for single-family homes that add an EV power management device, often letting you install a charger without upgrading your electrical panel.
Enroll an eligible smart charger in BC Hydro’s Peak Saver program for a $250 bill credit, plus a $50 reward for every season you stay enrolled.
Multi-unit residential buildings with shared parking can access larger EV-charging top-ups. Amounts vary by municipality. Here’s the current District of Saanich program (for buildings built before EV-ready parking bylaws).
Multi-unit program maximums apply and top-ups vary by municipality. Ask us about your building.
As an HPCN member, we enroll your installation in the applicable BC Hydro program.
